The making of glazes represent a big part of my work. This allows me to explore not only new textures and colours but also the different temperatures and atmospheres different glazes need in order to develop correctly.
Cups and mugs
The application of the glaze is as important as the surface in which is applied. In the same way, simple shapes sometimes are the best chioce to show off a good glaze.
Lastly, I believe the intended use of the ceramic product must be taken into account when choosing the glaze.
This is why all glazes applied to my tableware are food safe.
