Equlibrium 2024
This collection was born from an exploration of form and figure, drawing inspiration from the harmony and precision of geometric lines and the intricate beauty of natural botanicals.
Equilibrium features symmetrical vases distinguished by their ivory white reliefs.
The pieces can be appreciated both individually and as a set, enabling interplay between shapes. They can also be used as floral vases or simple bookends.
The surface treatment of this collection stems from a prior investigation on paper, where freehand drawings with varying levels of depth were created and colored with pencil.
These preliminary studies allowed me to explore and define the textures and reliefs that characterize each piece, adding handcrafted dimension to the collection. Each piece is unique, hand-modeled and decorated.
Equilibrium works as a testament to the marriage of nature and geometry, two complementary elements that have long been recurring themes in my artistic journey.
It is also the culmination of an exploration, marking another step forward in my quest to develop a distinctive style that reflects my essence in contemporary aesthetics.
